Do It Now!
Hello Dear Readers, Welcome Back to my yet another Thought Outlet. This is about being action-oriented & a go-getter in life.

Why do I need to be Action-Oriented?
We all must have heard the famous words:
“When you really want something, the whole universe conspires in helping you achieve it.”
This means you manifest your life and achievements by what you think and what you desire in your thoughts. To me, the concept of manifesting seems adorable, because basically, it means that we ourselves have the power to mold our reality and to shape our lives.
But many people take it the wrong way and say that if we think enough positive thoughts about our dream life, we’ll accomplish what we want which isn’t true at all.
In actual merely thinking about what we want is not enough and does no good, until we get up and start working towards it.
In real it takes much more to accomplish all those things and the only way we can do it is by being action-oriented. In fact, we must think of manifestation as indeed a strategy for planning how to stride towards our goals.
Action-oriented nature can transform us from “I want to achieve ABC” to “I have accomplished ABC”. Wouldn’t this be more satisfying than just keeping imagining those things? So, being action-oriented is a must to fulfill all our dreams.
How do my thoughts influence my actions?
Science shows that our musings about things that transpire can greatly affect how we feel and how we act. The huge occasions in life as well as little regular issues or bothers. Be that as it may, our reasoning isn’t constantly evident or potentially exact. Getting more to our examples of reasoning can greatly affect our bliss or state of mind, and thus our conduct as well as associations with others. There is currently solid proof to recommend that if we can get gifted at perceiving our contemplation in light of things that occur and when these are wrong, we can turn out to be better at comprehension and dealing with our passionate reactions thus at picking our responses. And thus thoughts affect the everyday actions we perform.
Practical Proof for the same:
Also, according to Dr. Albert Ellis’ A-B-C model, the thoughts do have a practical impact on us and this scientifically verified.
Consider, A the Activating Event, or thing that happened; B is the Belief or the considerations that immediately go through our mind, and C stands for Consequences — the feelings we feel and how we react therefore and cause further actions are all inter-related.
What Dr. Ellis discovered was that the way individuals deciphered life occasions(A), and the things they said to themselves (B) had a gigantic influence on how they felt emotionally and how they behaved (C ) i.e. the actions they took.
You can personally recollect your experiences too and think about how your mood, caused by our thoughts usually affects the day’s actions.
How to be action-oriented and manifest?
In order to be action-oriented, one must first have a clear understanding of what he actually wants. And then follow the steps below to achieve them all:
· Know what and why:
So, the basic step to do anything is to decide and define the end goal by finding an answer to this question “What is to be done?” We could use this to plan the next step how.
Once we know what our end goal is, the subtasks or the milestones that one needs to achieve can be easily mapped to plan the whole journey.
Of course, there must be a reason you started a particular task or want to achieve a particular goal.
Knowing your “why” keeps you ambitious throughout your journey.
This could also help to be the source of hopeful light in times you are in dire need of motivation, be it due to exhaustion of tireless working or boredom of doing it.
· Research “How” could it be done efficiently:
Humans have this age-old tradition to transcend their knowledge to further generations be it in the form of rich literature in books or paintings in caves.
What’s the use of legacy if we don’t learn one or two things from our ancestors or any experienced being. Taking benefit of knowledge helps you jot down the dos and don’ts by knowing what worked and what did not.
Simply put this makes your process of trial and error go smooth without any tribulations and with better efficiency.
· Have a Plan:
Because walking aimlessly, i.e. without any target in mind one could go randomly and get lost. Whereas a plan charted out well could at least give one direction to put their efforts in.
Nevertheless, it always serves as a guideline to decide and take the mini-steps towards achieving our dreams. This also helps manage resources all tangible and materialistic in a wise manner.
Planning makes one more productive, as it indicates what to do and when to do it.
· Track your Progress
In order to keep continually growing, it is essential to keep a look at your daily achievements else it will all pile up and lead to devastating results. This helps maintain a constantly increasing graph.
· Try Reinforcement Techniques
Rewarding oneself on successful execution and punishing on failing could do wonders if used effectively in optimal sense.
I do that by allowing myself to watch a few episodes of my favorite shows. You could try doing that for any other un-productive activity that you still want to be a part of of your life. Ek teer se do Nishaan!
I guess it’s too long for now. Will continue in next post. Meet ya, Bye Until. :)
